When releasing pledged gold makes sense
- Interest is piling up and you can no longer pay it
- You received an auction notice from the lender
- Gold prices have risen and your gold is worth much more than the loan
- You want to switch to a lower-interest option or simply sell
How the release works
- Share the loan details — lender name, loan account number and the latest closure amount.
- We verify the value — our estimate is based on the gold weight in your pledge receipt and today's rate.
- We visit the branch with you and pay the closure amount directly to the lender.
- Gold is released to you, tested and weighed in front of you.
- You receive the balance — gold value minus the loan amount — by instant bank transfer.
What to keep ready
- Gold loan pledge receipt / loan account number
- Latest loan closure statement (outstanding principal + interest)
- PAN card and Aadhaar of the borrower
- Bank account in the borrower's name
The borrower must be present at the branch. Availability depends on the lender's release process; we confirm everything on a call before the visit.
